Why We Built This
Most people know they should get organized. They mean to. And many believe they already have — the will is signed, the Power of Attorney (POA) is in a drawer somewhere, the important stuff is handled.
But here’s what most people don’t realize: having the documents isn’t the same as having a roadmap. A legally drafted POA doesn’t tell your family where your accounts are, which bills need to be paid, or who to call first. A will doesn’t walk your loved ones through the steps that need to happen in the days and weeks before it ever goes to probate.
And even the documents themselves can slow things down. Standard forms, even attorney-drafted ones, can still face delays when presented to a healthcare system or a bank. Every institution has its own requirements, its own approval process, its own timeline. We’ve done the research so you don’t have to: helping you find the right forms, understand what institutions actually need, and put everything in place so that when the time comes to get more support, the process is as smooth as it can be.
